Three Programming Focus Areas

The MSC produces programs focused in three different areas (or what we call Programming Councils): Arts and Entertainment, Educational Exploration, and Leadership Development and Service. Scroll down and click on the headers get more details about the MSC committees in each Council.

Arts and Entertainment

This program council brings movies, music, musicals (and other theatrical productions), and visual arts programs to campus.

Educational Exploration

This program council covers cultural awareness and enrichment, current affairs, and international culture and travel.

Leadership Development and Service

Our three Freshman Leadership Organizations (or FLOs) are in this program council. This PC also includes a leadership committee specifically for sophomores, leadership conferences, four different leadership trips, and the service-oriented "official host committee for Texas A&M University."

Resource Areas

Our Resource Areas give students practical, professional-level experience serving the committees. Students who work in our resource areas provide committees with marketing, fund development, and budget planning support, oversee administrative operations, and provide basic training resources.

The MSC also operates Aggie Nights, a free Friday night programming series, and we sponsor the Stark Northeast Trip, which offers top students the opportunity to visit top law and business schools in Chicago, Boston, New York and Philadelphia.
