Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize winning novel lives through an adaptation of Horton Foote's Academy Award winning screenplay in this compelling stage production. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD examines timeless issues - prejudice, racism and human values. Set in the South in the 1930's, Atticus Finch, an attorney and widowed father of two young children, opposes local townspeople by defending a young black man falsely accused of raping a white woman. Atticus teaches his children "you never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." You'll come close to walking that walk.
